The Denver X-ray Conference Organizing Committee wishes to maintain the high
standard of previous conferences and wishes to make sure that all presentations
are of the highest technical quality and contain only technical information.
Speakers, chairs, and workshop lecturers therefore have the responsibility of
avoiding commercial presentations. Guidelines are: presentations should avoid
stating the price of equipment; avoid statements comparing the performance and
specifications of one vendor's equipment to that of another; and should not
contain the statement that one brand of equipment is superior to any other.
It is rarely necessary to remind authors to avoid a
commercial, however, if there is any doubt, the person chairing a session or
presenting a workshop may wish to remind an author of the above guidelines
before they present their paper.
Sincerely,
The Denver X-ray Conference Organizing Committee
